I run four sites (soon one more) and I’m paying around $50 a year to host each of them. I notice that the speeds aren’t crash hot, but neither is the price I’m paying for them. The speed isn’t an issue but for one site, though the new site I’m starting will need decent speeds to keep up. Storage on both services is plenty, so speed is my only concern.
Is dedicated hosting (ie, one box that hosts all my sites) worth the $180 p/m cost, or are there cheaper alternatives for comparable speeds? I don’t want to commit to something that expensive without knowing if I’m going overboard. Alternatives (or recommended dedicated hosts) welcome

I am hosting my blog site with a webhosting provider. But the home page loads very slow.
1. Does this affect search engine indexing?
2. Does dynamic php sites slower than static sites?
3. Is it advisable to convert to static pages for faster loading and quick indexing by search engines
4. Or shall I convert to blogger instead of wordpress, since blogger converts all blogs to static pages.
5. Any suggestions to change the webhosting. Since I like to continue with wordpress due to its flexibility.
6. Which is the best & cheap web hosting company for hosting blog sites, it should have faster processing of database querying of wordpress.
thanks for helping

Hello, I was wondering if someone could tell me about a good cheap domain name registrar that allows payment via PayPal balance. GoDaddy didn’t allow me to use my balance since they only accepted Credit Card. Can you recommend ones that you have used, and if you liked them. If you know of any good webhosts as well, which are cheap and have good service then please list them. I am a canadian and it would be easier if it was a canadian registrar and host, but it doesn’t matter if they accept payments from Canada.

I’ve heard people say there are three things: “cheap, fast, good” and you can only have 2 out of the three. I’m willing to put in time learning and building my own site, but I don’t have any knowledge of the technology so I don’t know where to start. I’ve heard peple recommend programs like FLASH for building a website. But, I don’t know where/with whom I should register a domain name, and then where to go from there. Which comes first– domain name, hosting, building? I don’t understand the connection between all of these things, hence, my stagnating confusion.
Please Help!

I want to create my own webpage with my own domain. To start off, I will need to register a domain and getting a hosting service. Can anyone make some suggestions for the best quality for the lowest price. I dont expect hardly any traffic, it is more of a webpage for myself and friends, but I would like a few email addresses as well. Thanks for the help.
I do not want a free webpage, because I want my own domain name. Thank you.
